Guangzhou Medical and Health Industry Expo 2025, organized by Guangzhou Municipal People's Government under the theme of "Develop New Productivity, Share Healthy Future”, was recently opened in Area B of China Import and Export Fair Complex.

Huadu District attached great importance to this exhibition opportunity; two innovative enterprises and three District-level medical institutions were organized to make a group appearance in the Expo to display the latest achievements of Huadu District in medical technological R&D, health industry innovation and medical service improvement.

Various highlights:

Huadu delegation's exhibits, which covered high-end medical equipment, intelligent medical solutions, specialty medical services and other fields, fully reflected the industrial development concept of “empowered by technology, and led by innovation”. At Booth T35 in Hall 12.2, Ruishi Digital Technology Co., Ltd. displayed its all-digital PET/CT DigitMi930 system, the first of its kind in the world, and a revolutionary technology that represents the latest breakthrough in the field of molecular imaging. This device attracted many professional visitors to stop and inquire with its advantages of all-digital sampling, ultra-high-speed imaging and extremely low radiation dose.

Guangzhou Kanghui Medical Investment & Consulting Co., Ltd. at Booth T80, Hall 13.2, with its focus on convenient medical services, displayed intelligent bag picker, pharmaceutical community platform and professional nursing services, as well as a variety of pharmaceutical dressing products. This innovative "technology + service" mode provides a Huadu solution for the “key small things” in the process of medical treatment, demonstrating the humanistic care of the medical and health industry.

Empowering policies

Release new opportunities for the development of biomedical industry

During the exhibition, Huadu District also actively participated in the biomedical policy publicity activity organized by the conference. The Health Bureau of Huadu District took the stage and introduced the “Ten Measures of Huadu District to Promote the High Quality Development of Biomedical and Health Industry”, giving explanation in detail of the measures taken by Huadu District to build a highland of biomedical industry to the participating enterprises, and was well received on the spot.

Focusing on high-end medical equipment, biomedical manufacturing, medical and health services, pharmaceutical outsourcing platforms and other key areas, the policy launch a whole set of unprecedented supports: a maximum of 80 million yuan support will be offered to major projects with fixed asset investment of more than 300 million yuan; 100,000 yuan incentive for manufacturing enterprises when its annual output value exceeds the threshold of 100 million yuan for the first time; 3 million yuan award for newly recognized unicorns; and a maximum of 10 million yuan support for the clinical phase III trial of innovative drugs, and the annual support for enterprises is as high as 100 million yuan. Meanwhile, the policy also provides all-round support in terms of land supply, access to application scenarios, and talent protection, etc.; it promotes “equity for rent”, guides the establishment of industrial funds, and promotes the implementation of the Hong Kong and Macao Medicine and Equipment Connect and other innovative mechanisms. The policy is effective together with the higher-level policies, which demonstrates the determination and sincerity of Huadu District in vigorously developing the biomedical industry.

Medical institutions made a collective appearance

to showcase medical achievements with Huadu features

The collective appearance of three district-level medical institutions of Huadu constituted another highlight at the Expo. The exhibition of Huadu People's Hospital (D37 in Hall 13.2) mainly focused on clinical test cooperation projects of drugs and medical devices, showing how the hospital's scientific research strength as a regional medical center and its ability to undertake high-level clinical research set up an exchange platform for the in-depth integration of industry, academia and research.

The exhibition area of Guangzhou Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine (D127 in Hall 13.2) presented a feast for the eyes, where a wide range of 19 self-developed in-hospital preparations, as well as the hospital's characteristic health management service model, were displayed, attracting a large number of visitors to experience and consult. These preparations, which are the results of years of clinical experience, reflect the unique charm of Chinese medicine inheritance and innovation.

Huadu District Maternity And Infant Health Hospital (D128 in Hall 13.2), on the other hand, focused on the hospital's achievements in the construction of its specialties, the application of Chinese medicinal ointments, and the development of in-hospital preparations, to comprehensively demonstrate the advantages of combining traditional Chinese and Western medicines in the field of maternity and infant health services.

"Huadu District is making every effort to create the most suitable environment for the development of medical and healthcare industries. We have released solid support policies; both large enterprises and start-up teams can find development opportunities in Huadu." The relevant leader of Huadu District said that the government's job was to provide good services to ensure smooth and care-free development of enterprises in Huadu. The Expo provided a stage on which Huadu District not only showcased the development achievements of its medical and health industry, but also sent a strong signal to the industry that Huadu District is vigorously committed to the development of biomedical industry. Huadu's participation in the Expo injected new kinetic energy into the high-quality development of regional medical and health industry, and contributed Huadu's strength to “develop new productivity, and share healthy future ”.
